ViewPoints on Style
ViewPoints on Style is a highly effective style diagnostic and professional development programme that provides powerful, non-judgmental insights into participants’ personal style characteristics and the implications both for themselves, and for interacting with others. The insights and understanding gained can have a significant influence on school improvement.
Why ViewPoints on Style?
School leaders understand that team dynamics have a significant influence on school improvement. However, in order to work together effectively to move a school forward, a clear and accurate understanding of your own style and that of your colleagues is required.
ViewPoints on Style professional development is an effective and affordable way of achieving this. By providing powerful, non-judgmental insights into personal style characteristics and their implications, ViewPoints on Style helps to build strong teams, improving the quality of life in schools.
A closer look
Developed from many years' extensive research with education professionals, ViewPoints on Style enables participants to:
- understand their personal style characteristics
- recognise how their style affects their own and other’s reaction to contexts and events
- work effectively in teams alongside colleagues with both similar and different personal style characteristics.
Relevant as much to established teams as it is to newly formed teams, ViewPoints on Style provides a one-day intensive workshop led by an experienced facilitator. Prior to the event, participants undertake a short but powerful online inventory, the results of which provide a foundation for the day.
To ensure the programme has maximum input, our facilitators have extensive experience at senior leadership level in schools and have been personally trained by Dr Kathleen Butler, the originator of ViewPoints on Style and acclaimed researcher in the understanding of stylistic differences in individuals.
