Using schoolcentre.net to aid their preparation, St Hilary School and St Newlyn East Primary School in Cornwall received excellent feedback from the inspectors, with St Hilary awarded “outstanding” in every category bar one. Both head teachers believe that their success was enhanced by the use of the schoolcentre.net.
GRANADA LEARNING PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT AWARDED LEADING FROM THE MIDDLE CONTRACT 7 July 2006 – The National College for School Leadership (NCSL) has appointed Granada Learning Professional Development (GLPD) to implement its Leading from the Middle training programme in the South West Government Office region. Commencing in September, GLPD will train a total of 1,800 teachers across primary, secondary and special schools in the region over a three-year period. The contract win follows GLPD’s successful implementation of Leading from the Middle in the North East Government Office region.
NFERNELSON EXTENDS POPULAR BLACK BOX SERIES ON ASSESSMENT FOR LEARNING 5 June 2006 – Leading independent test publisher, nferNelson, has today unveiled two new titles in its established Black Box series on Assessment for Learning (AfL). NFERNELSON UNVEILS NEW ASSESSMENT FOR LEARNING SERIES FOR THE PRIMARY CLASSROOM 14 February 2006 - nferNelson has today published a literacy series that is designed to embed assessment for learning into the primary classroom.
